I’m having an incredibly busy year. Quitting a dependable full-time job and setting up Mighty Motor Media in June of last year may have looked foolhardy in the face of a recession, but my fledgling automotive publicity company has been a hit with clients and is currently going from strength to strength.
Unfortunately, the workload has left little time for messing about with my fellow Bumperites, but I did manage to photograph one of them for 911 & Porsche World magazine last Sunday.
Paul Starkey is one of the longest-serving IB members. Living in Buckingham, UK, Paul owns a very smart 3.2 Carrera that as been tastefully modified to give a punchy 244 bhp on our trusted dyno. No stranger to the ocassional track day, Paul had Tuthill Porsche rebuild and set up the suspension for a combination of comfortable ride and effective grip. Daughter Annabel (top) is also a fan!
The piece is set to run in Porsche World next month, so keep an eye out for it. Here’s hoping for a happy-looking layout!
